Our Class Registration Policy
Register by either phone or in person. WE DO NOT ACCEPT EMAIL REGISTRATIONS FOR CLASSES!!
To register for a class, you must prepay the class fee at which time you will be given a supply list for things needed to participate in the class. The class fee is for instruction only. No materials are included in the class fee. The fee is refundable if you let us know one week prior to the beginning of the class or if the class is canceled for lack of participation. If you do not let us know one week prior to the class starting, the fee is not refundable.

Embroidery / Slow Stitching

(B)Want to escape the chaos going on around us? Need to unwind after the holidays? Come join us to learn slow stitching/embroidery. Learn basic stitches to begin your journey. The project is a needlebook but you are encouraged to create whatever your heart tells you. We will be doing a “page” in class and talk about ways to use that page.

Liberty Lily APPLIQUÉ

(B+) Now that you have made the pieced blocks for the Liberty Lily quilt YOU WILL LEARN TO APPLIQUE THE FLAG AND LILY BLOCKS. Needleturn applique will be taught, but if you prefer to machine applique the blocks let the teacher know and we can cover that method, too.

Come join us and get yours started. The example taught will be using the log cabin method, but we will explore several other options to choose from.

Liberty Lily PIECING

(B+) Celebrate our nation's 250 years by making your own Liberty Lily quilt. This is an old favorite by Barb Adams with a combination of pieced and applique blocks. IN THIS CLASS YOU WILL MAKE THE PIECED BLOCKS. (You may also want to sign up for the Liberty Lily - APPLIQUE CLASS)

(B) Never quilted before, this is the class for you. You will learn several blocks that are the basis for many quilt patterns. Designed for new beginners or someone wanting to brush up on their skills.

Walking Foot Only Machine Quilting

(B) This class will help you become comfortable using your walking foot to create basic lines, shapes, curves and motifs. We cover machine needles, thread choices, marking tools, batting types and how to prepare your quilt for quilting.
