(B+) This quilt is the ultimate scrap quilt!! For a traditional look, choose country/documentary fabrics or go bright with clear jewel tone colors-or mix it all together. This quilt is made using very basic pieced units which can be arranged in multiple ways for your own quilt design-traditional or more contempory. Several designs will be shown in class. You can use up those chunks of fabric you have been saving OR use multiple Fat Quarter or Fat Eights.

(B+) This class is designed to teach students how to sew a quick and easy bag for gifts or personal use. The bag is 12” by 11” Long and 4” deep. It can be a scappy bag using up some 2.5 X 4.5” fabrics or you can use a charm pack. You can also use a bigger square to put in the center with initial or applique or cross stitch It is a quick bag.”

(B+) Make a quilt top in 5 hours and to be able to adjust the pattern to make it larger, Use panels instead of squares and use different size squares. You should be able to leave the class with a finished top. Lots of fun for a Christmas quilt to show off all those pretty fabrics.

Blueprint Quilt

(B) This quilt is a “blueprint” for designing your own scrappy quilt. This layout has enough space and block sizes to insert any block from the book into your own sampler. We’ll be making four different blocks, including Antique Tile blocks, but you can add as many others from the book that you would like to finish your layout at home. You can even add blocks that finish 3” and 6” as those sizes are included for every block in the book. We’ll also be introducing tips and techniques for working with quilting stencils and free motion quilting for your finished quilt top.

Register by either phone or in person. WE DO NOT ACCEPT EMAIL REGISTRATIONS FOR CLASSES!!

To register for a class, you must prepay the class fee at which time you will be given a supply list for things needed to participate in the class. The class fee is for instruction only. No materials are included in the class fee. The fee is refundable if you let us know one week prior to the beginning of the class or if the class is canceled for lack of participation. If you do not let us know one week prior to the class starting, the fee is not refundable.
