Our Class Registration Policy

Register by either phone or in person. WE DO NOT ACCEPT EMAIL REGISTRATIONS FOR CLASSES!!

To register for a class, you must prepay the class fee at which time you will be given a supply list for things needed to participate in the class. The class fee is for instruction only. No materials are included in the class fee. The fee is refundable if you let us know one week prior to the beginning of the class or if the class is canceled for lack of participation. If you do not let us know one week prior to the class starting, the fee is not refundable.

Double Pinwheel

(B+) Learn to make charming pinwheel blocks using a strip piecing method. This quilt can be made as a Two-Color Quilt, a Three-Color Quilt, or as scrappy as you wish!

(B) In this wool embroidery class each leaf and circle will be embellished with a different stitch. The pattern is African Marula by Sue Spargo and we will be using her book on Creative Stitching 2nd edition. The plan is to use every stitch in the book

Temperature Quilt

(B+) This pattern chronicles the everyday temperature of a certain location for an entire year. To make a Temperature Quilt you assign a certain color or pattern to specific temperatures and then use those colors or pattern in a set design to showcase the weather patterns for that year.

(B) Make a “Lone Star” Quilt the easy way—NO DIAMONDS! Using only half-square triangles you can successfully make this traditional, favorite quilt design. Learn several methods of half-square triangle construction. This is my Go-To Giveaway Quilt.

Walking Foot Only Machine Quilting

(B) This class will help you become comfortable using your walking foot to create basic lines, shapes, curves and motifs. We cover machine needles, thread choices, marking tools, batting types and how to prepare your quilt for quilting.

Alphabet Fun

(B+) Learn how to make letter blocks so that you can express yourself in words, make an alphabet quilt or create a themed word quilt. Tips and tricks are taught in this class as well as some modifications to some of the letters to make them easier to construct. You’ll learn how to make an assortment of letters so that you can apply what you learn in class to any letters (and numbers) needed to complete your quilt. This is also the pattern used to make the sample and also used to make Moda’s Letters to Santa quilt.
