Star Quilt

Fee is $3.00 for all 6 kits 

 

We are offering a mid year (Six Block Quilt) Block of the Month. The rules are the same as previous Block of the Month Quilts. The blocks in this quilt are all made with “Thangles”, a paper pattern technique for making “half square triangles”. You will receive in your kit each month the “Thangles", directions and background fabric (white or beige). The cost is $3.00 for all six kits (if you don’t break a rule). Each kit will make an 8” finished block. We make the shop sample into a star quilt. If you want to make your quilt like our shop sample, the fabric requirements are as follows:


  • Light background for large stars – 2 yards
  • 6 fat quarters (one for each star point and piecing of blocks)
  • 2 yards for outside border
  • ½ yard of two accent fabrics for borders around blocks and borders
